VAC Partners with Landmarks on David Ellis Commission

Landmarks, the university’s public art program, commissioned artist David Ellis to create an original video that will premiere during the Visual Arts Center’s Grand Opening Celebration Weekend. The commission represents the first work of video art to be acquired by the university’s growing public art collection and will initiate the only ongoing presentation of artists’ videos on campus.

VAC Marks Transition from CRL with Presentation of Work from 2010 Senior Studio Art Exhibition

2010 Senior Studio Art Exhibition

To mark the transition from the Creative Research Lab to the Visual Arts Center in the Department of Art and Art History, work from the 2010 Senior Art Exhibition will be displayed in the East Lobby Gallery.

VAC Partners with Mesoamerica Center to Bring Exhibitions to East Lobby Corridor Gallery

The Mesoamerica Center

The Visual Arts Center has partnered with the Mesoamerica Center to bring semester-long exhibitions to the East Lobby Corridor Gallery. The opening exhibition will showcase photographs from Donna DeCesare, a faculty member in the Department of Journalism.
