About AUDIENCING

AUDIENCING explores the relationship between audiences and the objects of the audience (i.e. what the audience is viewing or listening to, be it a performer or art object). With two large hexagonal bandstands, barricades, and chairs, Gale creates a site-specific structure that defines the form and shape of the audience. Music selections curated by Nicholas Perry Clark feature works by Annie Gosfield, Michael Gordon, and graphic scores by Nikita Gale.
