Interested in submitting an exhibition proposal in Center Space Project's call for proposals, but not sure where to begin? This workshop and panel discussion will cover all the steps involved in planning an exhibition, from writing a strong exhibition narrative to preparing a budget. Former CSP artists and curators riel Sturchio, Brooke Johnson, and Lilia Taboada will share their insights, experiences, and tips with attendees and answer questions relating to the proposal writing process. Following the conversation, students interested in collaborating on a proposal are invited to mingle with fellow artists and curators, share digital portfolios and writing samples, and exchange ideas.

Center Space Project’s annual call for proposals will be open March 1–31, 2019. All undergraduate and graduate students at The University of Texas at Austin are invited to submit proposals for the Visual Arts Center’s 2019–2020 exhibition season. The application will be available here beginning March 1.
