From Chimpan-A to Chimpanzee: An Oozy Rat Science Convention

"From Chimpan-A to Chimpanzee" is not your ordinary science convention! With this event, the artists featured in the exhibition Oozy Rat in a Sanitary Zoo—Sasha Fishman, Brooke Johnson, Seth Murchison, tín Rodriguez, and Rachel Wilkins—welcome visitors to explore the visual and conceptual similarities shared between artistic practice and scientific inquiry. Researchers whose fields of study engage the natural sciences will share their work with the public through displays outside the VAC, and the artists will be present in the gallery to discuss their work with visitors. Throughout the event, attendees are invited to interact with the displays, ask questions, and engage with the guest researchers and exhibiting artists from Oozy Rat in a Sanitary Zoo.
