Join artist Shanie Tomassini for an incense-making workshop in conjunction with her exhibition at the Courtyard Gallery, Water Whispering Through the Drain. Drawing from her sculpture practice, Tomassini will guide participants in balancing and mixing a variety of aromatic spices, binders, and powders to create homemade incense cones.
Attendees may simply observe the workshop, or join Tomassini in making their own incense during the event. Here, you'll find a list of ingredients the artist has provided, which you can find in your kitchen pantry or local grocery store.
