Passing Through

Students enrolled in Lecturer Alex Boeschenstein’s Advanced Print Class present the exhibition Passing Through in conjunction with the VAC’s Fieldwork Projects program.

Passing through time,
a journey through what is changed,
working through another language of print

Unique contact, layers of pressure
where individual narratives meet and part again

Walking through shifting histories,
facing tensions within

Drawn to nature’s elements,
the fleeting moments
where ideas collide

We live inside impermanence,
We rest in what will vanish

Breathe in the in-between

A place to stop
A place to reflect
A place to begin

This exhibition is presented as part of Fieldwork Projects, an initiative led by the Visual Arts Center that provides a platform for translating in-classroom learning to public, in-gallery exhibitions and experiences.
