Autumn Knight and Houston-based collaborator Li Harris create a new multimedia performance responding to Planet Texas 2050's Networks for Hazard Preparedness and Response project.

Autumn Knight is a New York-based interdisciplinary artist working with performance, installation, video, sound and text. Knight’s video and performance work has been presented by various institutions including the Whitney Museum of American Art and The Kitchen (NY). Knight is the recipient of the 2021–2022 Nancy B. Negley Rome Prize in Visual Arts and a 2022–2023 Guggenheim Fellowship.


Lisa E. Harris, Li, is an independent and interdisciplinary artist, creative soprano, performer, composer, improvisor, filmmaker, writer, singer/songwriter researcher and educator from Houston Texas. She received a 2022 Guggenheim Fellowship in Fine Arts and is also the 2021 recipient of the Dorothea Tanning Award in Music/Sound from the Foundation for Contemporary Art.

She uses voice, theremin, electronics, movement, improvisation, meditation and new media to explore healing in performance and living. Li is trained as a classical voice/opera singer and performs across a wide range of genres and mediums. She is a certified facilitator of DEEP LISTENING®, the sonic philosophies of composer Pauline Oliveros. Li is the founder and creative director of Studio Enertia, an arts collective and production company in Houston Texas.
