The VAC Circle is a membership group for dedicated supporters of the Visual Arts Center. Contributions commission new artworks, support student and faculty-initiated exhibitions, and fund innovative programming and unique educational experiences.
VAC Circle Members Receive
- An invitation to participate in the VAC Circle Advisory Council quarterly meetings
- Invitations to VIP exhibition preview receptions
- Exclusive behind-the-scenes access to events and studio tours
- Recognition on the VAC donor wall and website
- Complimentary parking for VAC visits and events
- Insider news from the VAC director
VAC Circle Contributions Support
- The VAC Artist-in-Residence program, which commissions guest artists to create new works emphasizing student involvement and interaction
- Paid internships for graduate and undergraduate students to work and learn from the VAC staff
- Opportunities for UT Art History PhD students to produce exhibitions and programs
- Annual student thesis exhibitions
- Center Space Project, the VAC’s student-run curatorial organization
Membership
Annual Memberships to the VAC Circle are open to arts supporters living in Austin and elsewhere. Dues for 2024–25 membership are $1,500 and can be renewed at the conclusion of each year.
