Clay Kogut is receiving a BFA in Visual Art Studies from The University of Texas at Austin. His works in acrylic paint and mixed media serve as documentation of his life, personal experiences, and the passage of time. He views his images as entries in a journal or ticks on a timeline.
Kogut is passionate about art education. He hopes to have his own classroom in the near future where students have the opportunity to learn and explore their identities in a safe and welcoming environment.
